Job summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking a capable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-demand, on-site IT support for enterprise clients in Bolivar, Missouri. This contract-based role requires responding to service requests with hands-on assistance for desktops, laptops, and peripherals at the client site.

Role emphasizes on-site, independent work with no guaranteed hours. Immediate start and dispatch-based assignments will be provided by the Service Delivery Team.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows desktop environments.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in on-site support environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
• Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
• Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
• Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
• Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.
