Axiom Technologies is seeking a capable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for enterprise clients in Dayton, Ohio. This contract-based, on-demand role requires responding to service requests and delivering hands-on support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals at client locations.

The ideal candidate will have strong Windows expertise, hardware troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in an on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Experience providing on-site desktop support in corporate environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and peripherals.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve PC, printer, and network issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
• Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
• Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting using Console access when required.
• Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
• Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.
