Job summary

MRA - The Management Association is seeking an On-Demand Compensation Business Partner to deliver strategic compensation guidance and analytics for member organizations across the US.

The role focuses on market pricing, job evaluations, and designing salary structures while supporting compensation survey initiatives and training programs. Flexible, project-based engagement with varying hours; not a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, finance, or related field.
• 4+ years in compensation, total rewards, or HR.
• Experience with market pricing, benchmarking, and job evaluation.
• Knowledge of salary structures, incentive plans, and pay administration.
• Understanding of federal and state wage and hour laws.
• Strong analytical skills with data interpretation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with members to assess compensation needs and guide strategy and market competitiveness.
• Conduct market pricing analyses using salary surveys and compensation databases.
• Perform job evaluations and position analyses for classification and exemption status.
• Design, develop, and support salary structures, frameworks, and incentive programs.
• Facilitate compensation discussions with organizational leaders and stakeholders.
• Analyze data and prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for members.
• Support compensation survey initiatives and training programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
