Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks two-person Flex Houseparents to live in on-campus student homes and provide care, mentorship, and structured guidance for 8–13 students.

Couples work nine days on, three days off, with progression to a placed houseparent role. Responsibilities include supervision, routines, wellness, transportation, and devotions, fostering academic and social growth.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities, as well as planning and actively engaging in developmental and recreational activities with students.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
