Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for about 8–13 students, fostering a structured, family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social growth.

The role starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and then transitions to a placed houseparent with continuing responsibility.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for married couples.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and supervise student wellness.
• Plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
