Job summary

The University of Utah is seeking an Undergraduate Admissions Evaluator to assist in evaluating applications, processing credentials, and maintaining student records to support the admissions process. This role collaborates with campus partners and answers inquiries about admission policies and documentation processing.

Ideal candidates will have strong office experience, excellent communication, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Three years of general office experience or equivalency.
• Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills.
• College coursework in a related area is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating undergraduate applications for all University of Utah campuses.
• Respond to emails related to undergraduate admissions.
• Provide customer service support at office windows and via phone calls as it relates to undergraduate admissions.
• Process credentials related to admissions.
• Monitor students' academic files to ensure information is complete and updated by filling in information and changing records when applicable.
• Manage daily work responsibilities and recommend changes to supervisor to improve processes.
• May be cross-trained in other areas and assigned to assist with other special projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
