Job summary

University of Utah's Office of Admissions is seeking an Academic Program Support Specialist (Graduate Admissions Evaluator) to join our team on campus. You will evaluate graduate applications, review transcripts, and verify credentials to support the admissions process.

You will work closely with departments and applicants, providing great customer service, accurate data entry, and timely responses to inquiries. This full-time role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with a daytime campus office.

Qualifications

• Three years of general office experience or equivalency, with one year in an academic setting.
• Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills required.
• College coursework in a related area is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate international and domestic graduate applications.
• Evaluate academic transcripts, test scores, and other credentials.
• Monitor students' academic files to ensure information is complete and updated.
• Respond to emails related to international and domestic graduate admissions.
• Provide customer service at our office windows and via phone calls.
• Process credentials related to international and domestic graduate admissions.
• May be cross-trained in other areas of the office.
