The Chronicle of Higher Education, Inc. in Salt Lake City is seeking an International Undergraduate Admissions Evaluator to support the international student admissions process.
You will evaluate transcripts, test scores, and credentials, and enter data into the student information system. Based at our Main Campus, this in-office role follows a hybrid schedule with potential remote days after 90 days with management approval.
This employee plays a vital role in the international studentadmission and record maintenance process. They are trained toevaluate academic transcripts, test scores, and relevantcredentials. Responsibilities include preparing, verifying, andentering data into computerized student information systems. TheInternational Undergraduate Admissions Evaluator will work with theUndergraduate International Admissions team to process applicationsfor the current admissions cycle and assist in maintaining studentrecords for our Main Campus located in Salt Lake City. There arebusier times of year when we receive an increase in applications,and this typically occurs between the months of November to March,and overtime may be made available during this time. Please notethat this is a Main campus-based position and this employee will beworking at the Salt Lake City Admissions office. This employee willalso communicate with students, departments, and other on-campuspartners to address inquiries regarding admission policies, thesubmission and processing of related documentation, and to connectstudents with campus resources. It is important to note that thisposition does not entail active recruitment of potentialapplicants. Staff are required to be in the office; this is not aremote position. The Office of Admissions currently operates on ahybrid schedule. After 90 days and with management approval,employees may have the opportunity to work up to three days a weekremotely.
Three years of general office experience or equivalency (one yearof education can be substituted for two years of related workexperience), one of which in an academic setting; and demonstratedhuman relation and effective communication skills required. Collegecoursework in a related area is preferred.
