Job summary

Roxbury Community College is seeking a part-time Learning Center Computer Assistant for on-campus support hours. The role assists peers, staff, and faculty with computer-lab navigation, basic technology support, tutor scheduling, Accessibility Services navigation, and front-desk customer service.

Applicants should be RCC students with prior campus experience and strong computer and customer-service skills. The position offers on-campus work with structured supervision by the Learning Center team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled RCC student for 2026-2027 year.
• Active FWS award with remaining eligibility required.
• Maintain SAP per aid rules and institutional requirements.
• Complete payroll and student-employment paperwork before starting.
• Work only the approved FWS schedule and duties.

Responsibilities

• Greet students and assist with lab check-in and workstation use.
• Assist with logging in, printing, scanning, and Office software.
• Help locate tutoring schedules and campus resources.
• Maintain orderly lab area and report issues to staff.
• Track lab usage, supplies, and equipment.
• No academic advising or admin-level tech support.
