Job summary

Montserrat College of Art seeks a part-time Student Employment Coordinator to cover maternity leave (Oct 2026–May 2027). The role supports the Creative Employment Initiative by coordinating with faculty, posting student jobs, onboarding new hires, and handling ADP timecards for payroll accuracy.

The position is 25–30 hours per week on campus, with Mondays required and flexible other days. Requires a Bachelor's degree, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; two years post-graduate experience preferred in higher education.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with commitment to teamwork.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with ADP or other HRIS is a plus; training available.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with faculty and staff to identify student employment opportunities and draft job descriptions.
• Post and promote student employment opportunities on the on-campus and off-campus channels.
• Produce reports on student workers for grant reporting and statistical analysis.
• Manage onboarding for new student employees, including contracts (DocuSign) and payroll onboarding into ADP.
• Participate in payroll meetings and verify timecards against schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
