Job summary

Montserrat College of Art is seeking a Director of Health Services (part-time, 25 hours/week, 12 months) to provide nursing assessments, medical management, and wellness programming for students. The role includes care coordination, first aid, immunization monitoring, and liaison with local health resources.

Responsibilities include maintaining health records, establishing care standards, coordinating with the Medical Supervisor, and supporting campus-wide wellness initiatives and orientations.

Qualifications

• LPN, RN and/or Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Public Health; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating health education programs for college students.
• Knowledge of inclusive practices and experience supporting diverse student populations.
• Ability to collaborate and foster partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, treatment, and care coordination for students per protocols.
• Organize and maintain student health records in the health office.
• Develop and deliver wellness programming and health education initiatives.
• Collaborate with Medical Supervisor, Counseling, and Dean of Students on planning.
• Attend meetings and train Resident Assistants on health topics.
• Order and maintain medical supplies and manage referrals.
