Job summary

Seattle Pacific University is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology projects on campus. The role sits within the IT Business Systems team and focuses on planning, cross‑functional coordination, and portfolio governance to align with SPU’s strategic priorities.

You’ll partner with campus departments, translate complex needs into practical requirements, and drive risk-aware, user-centered solutions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading technology projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into solutions.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with technical and nontechnical partners.
• Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, review, and execution of university technology projects.
• Coordinate IT project portfolio with department leadership.
• Define scope, schedules, milestones, dependencies, resources, risks, and outcomes.
• Facilitate requirements discovery and translate needs into actionable specs.
• Support change-management activities for technology updates.
