Job summary

Stanford University’s University IT (UIT) is seeking an IT Project Manager 2 to lead multiple technical projects across enterprise applications and integrations. The role reports to the UIT PMO and requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and adherence to project management best practices.

This two-year fixed-term, hybrid-eligible position emphasizes on-site collaboration at the Stanford Redwood City campus at least two days per week.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading diverse teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience with vendor selection and SaaS projects, development, and IT infrastructure upgrades.
• Solid experience with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio), Smartsheet, ServiceNow PPM, Zoom, and Slack.
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle HCM, PeopleSoft Student and HR Administration.
• Experience with IT application, technical infrastructure, and system integration projects.
• Knowledge of QA, testing practices, and data integration across different platforms.
• Understanding of web application architecture and the technology tiers that support them, system architectures, and application integration.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple medium/large technical projects across domains (e.g., enterprise apps, integrations).
• Balance stakeholders’ interests and drive continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes.
• Coordinate vendor selection, SaaS implementations, development, and IT infrastructure upgrades.
• Ensure timely delivery within budget while leading cross-functional teams.
