Job summary

BOLDYN NETWORKS US campus-based Field Service Representative role in Chicago, IL. You will provide on-site IT infrastructure support, manage hardware lifecycle, and resolve end-user issues across Windows and Mac environments, including imaging, accounts, and basic network tasks.

You’ll collaborate with vendors, handle tickets, deliver user training, and support Office 365/SharePoint Online while maintaining equipment inventories and reporting on activity.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years Windows and/or Mac OS hardware and software support.
• 1–3 years help desk experience in a medium to large environment.
• Experience with ticketing systems and account information gathering.
• Proficiency with AD, security groups, and file share permissions.
• Familiarity with virtualization and reducing hardware footprint.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to customers and respond to outages promptly.
• Configure, install, and support laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, and peripherals.
• Manage tickets and escalate as needed; maintain inventory and notify thresholds.
• Support Office 365, SharePoint Online, and cloud accounts; provide end-user training.
• Assist with VOIP, conferencing, and AV support; collaborate with vendors for warranty issues.
• Document procedures, follow established technical guidelines, and generate reports.
