The University of Georgia is seeking a Skilled Trades Worker to perform building maintenance tasks in and around residence halls serving about 1,200 residents. The role requires availability for weekend and after-hours shifts and clear communication with residents and staff.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; five years of trades experience or a comparable combination of training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years of experience preferred or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Must be able to work in a 24-hour residential operations setting and be on-call as needed.

Responsabilités

• Perform basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical repairs in residence halls.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of work areas and tools.
• Respond to work orders and service requests using the department systems.
• Work weekends or evenings as required and participate in after-hours on-call program.
