Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks a Full-time Flex Houseparent couple to live in on-campus student homes and guide 8–13 students daily. The roles involve supervision, mentoring, and coordinating routines, with duties including transportation, devotions, and activities planning.

Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years, be 27 or older, and pass an individual application. The compensation includes housing and comprehensive benefits, with training and relocation support

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couple must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses 27 years or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Campus is smoke-free and weapons-free; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds only.
• Valid U.S. driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lead daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited).
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff are role models for students.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
