Job summary

Ball State University seeks a Custodian Relief & Project on the Muncie campus. The role is full-time, on site, with a 3rd shift schedule (10:30 pm–7:00 am, Sun–Thu). Compensation starts at $18.68–$19.30 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, retirement, and tuition discounts.

The ideal candidate is flexible, service-oriented, and eager to learn. Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks as described.

Responsibilities

• Clean, renovate, and maintain floor surfaces and restrooms.
• Operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Dust, vacuum, and polish furniture and surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Restock supplies and report repairs as needed.
• Guide and assist student custodial staff.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
