Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington is seeking an Environmental Custodian to support on-campus housing operations and maintain clean living spaces for students. The role covers daily cleaning, restroom servicing, trash/recycling, and general custodial duties within residential buildings.

Qualifications

• General knowledge at the high school level.
• Custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings and facilities in clean and orderly condition.
• Performs daily cleaning of restrooms and showers in student living spaces.
• Vacuums hallways in student living spaces.
• Maintains daily the public spaces of residential areas.
• Cleans floors, ramps, and stairs by sweeping or mopping.
