Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples for Full-time Flex Houseparents to live on campus and care for 8–13 students.

You will supervise daily routines, manage schedules, and support students' academic, emotional, and social development while modeling integrity and professionalism. The role begins with a nine-on / three-off schedule and leads to a placed houseparent assignment with long-term on-site involvement.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couples must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
