Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks dedicated married couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus. You will reside in student homes, supervise 8–13 students, and support daily routines and development.

The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and offers a pathway to a placed houseparent position. Responsibilities include mentorship, coordinating activities, and leading devotions to foster academic, emotional, and social growth within a caring, structured

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel (no proselytizing).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and support student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
