Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples for Full-time Flex Houseparents who will live in on-campus homes with 8–13 students. You provide care, mentorship, supervision, and support to help students thrive academically, emotionally, and socially while building a family-like environment.

Initially, couples work a nine-on, three-off schedule, then transition to a placed home with a consistent group. The position includes housing, meals on duty, benefits, and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning activities with students.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
• Support multiple student homes initially, then transition to a placed home with the same group of students.
