Job summary

National Water Services in Washington DC is seeking a Service Technician to perform preventive and emergency maintenance on our water dispensing cabinets. You will build strong relationships with customers and store management while delivering high-quality service.

You will conduct proactive maintenance, troubleshoot with meters and gauges, and handle repairs. This role includes occasional after-hours calls with 24–48 hour on-site response and timely paperwork completion.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Excellent time management and ability to work independently.
• Smartphone use and reporting via email.
• Physical ability to bend, squat, climb stairs or ladders.
• Excellent English communication.
• Provide own transportation and tools for on-site visits.

Responsibilities

• Establish positive relationships with customers and store management through effective service delivery.
• Demonstrate strong customer service to ensure a satisfactory experience.
• Perform preventive maintenance like replacements and inspections on water cabinets.
• Troubleshoot using gauges, meters, and leak detection; report findings.
• Address repairs including leaks, fittings, valves, tubing and wiring.
• Be available for occasional emergency service calls with 24–48 hour on-site response.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork for payment processing.
