Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a qualified professional in Ohio to oversee career counseling, develop and update Individual Employment Plans, and lead outreach efforts for diverse participants. You will document progress in the CRM, coordinate host sites, and supervise staff participants.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in client-facing work, with preferred supervisory experience and CRM/Paylocity proficiency. Some travel within the assigned counties will be needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, education, social sciences, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3 years of relevant client-facing or public-facing experience.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
  • 3+ years using Microsoft Office Suite in a professional setting.
  • Knowledge of social service and employment resources in the assigned territory preferred.
  • Proficiency with CRM, Paylocity, and Office 365.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and provide career counseling to participants, assessing skills, barriers, interests, and goals.
  • Develop, review, and update Individual Employment Plans twice yearly.
  • Conduct job development and business outreach to secure unsubsidized job openings.
  • Document counseling sessions, IEP updates, training progress, and job placement efforts in the CRM system.
  • Develop and execute outreach plans to recruit diverse participants.
  • Source, evaluate, and enroll eligible low-income individuals aged 55+.
  • Develop host agencies and secure nonprofit host sites.
  • Conduct participant orientations and required safety reviews.
  • Lead community promotion and marketing through presentations, written materials, and media engagement.
  • Communicate program information to varied and culturally diverse audiences.
  • Lead daily office operations and manage administrative functions.
  • Delegate responsibilities to staff participants.
  • Select, train, and directly supervise staff participants.
  • Train staff participants on office technology and data systems.
  • Identify, document, and resolve complex operational issues.
  • Prepare accurate and timely administrative and program reports.

Job description

Requirements
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, education, social sciences, or a related field required; equivalent work experience will be considered
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant client- or public-facing professional experience required
  • At least one (1) year of supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite in a professional setting
  • Knowledge of key social service and employment resources within the assigned territory is preferred
  • Proficiency in CRM, Paylocity, and Office 365
  • Ability to travel regularly 2–3 days per week within Trumbull, Mahoning, and Ashtabula counties
