RiverPointe Post-Acute in Carmichael, CA seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide and direct all aspects of patient care, including evaluation, treatment planning and family education, following organizational and regulatory guidelines. You will supervise assistants, document in EMR, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality rehab services.

The role requires an active SLPA license, CPR certification, and prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Formación

• Graduate of an approved curriculum in Speech and Language Pathology.
• Current, active license as Speech Pathologist, and able to practice unencumbered.
• CPR Certification, as required for license renewal.
• Working knowledge of Medicare and other payor sources.
• Experience in long term care preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Directs and supervises the work of assistants and students as applicable with State and Federal guidelines.
• Follows all organizational and facility safety procedures regarding personal protection and patient safety.
• Expands and enhances self, in both clinical and professional knowledge through associations and continuing education.
• Keys information into computer systems, including EMR and rehab systems.
• Supports and participates in department operations and development.
• Communicates patient status and needs to patients, family, caregivers, or other members involved with patient care.
