RiverPointe Post-Acute Rehab in Carmichael, CA is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead nursing services with full administrative authority. You will manage staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and align resources to support residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

The role requires an active CA RN license, a BSN preferred, and 2–3 years in skilled nursing with leadership experience. Competitive benefits and a supportive environment accompany this full-time position.

Qualifications

• Current, active California RN license in good standing.
• BSN preferred; ADN may be considered based on experience and facility requirements.
• Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
• Previous Director of Nursing or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CDPH, CMS, and federal/state SK nursing facility regulations.
• Working knowledge of MDS/RAI, Medicare/Medicaid processes and quality measures.

Responsabilités

• Review 24-hour report daily to ensure timely responses to changes in condition and compliance.
• Establish infection control program and review surveillance data for trends.
• Monitor care across shifts and evaluate regulatory compliance during rounds.
• Assist in preparation for long-term care surveys and coordinate survey responses.
• Oversee admission processes and staffing plans to meet acuity and care needs.
• Hire, develop, and retain qualified nursing staff and conduct performance reviews.
