Job summary

Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is seeking an on-call Emergency Maintenance Equipment Operator for snow removal operations across Willow Springs and nearby locations. Work hours vary with weather events; night work adds $1 per hour, and winter emergencies can add $3 per hour.

Position is temporary and supervised. Responsibilities include operating plows and ice-control spreaders, plus routine vehicle and grounds maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CDL Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status.
• Registration in FMCSA's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicles to plow snow and spread ice control materials.
• Cleans and performs routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Performs other responsibilities as required or assigned.
