Job summary

MoDOT in Missouri is seeking an on-call Emergency Maintenance Equipment Operator for locations including Poplar Bluff. The role involves snow removal operations, operating plow trucks, spreading ice control materials, and routine vehicle maintenance under direct supervision.

Hours vary by weather events; night work adds $1 per hour; there is an additional $3 per hour during winter/emergency operations. Requires CDL A or B with no air brake restrictions, background check, and drug screen;

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CDL Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status (EI or NI).
• Registration in FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicles to plow snow and spread ice control materials.
• Performs routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Other duties as assigned related to snow removal operations.
