Job summary

The Missouri Department of Transportation is seeking an on-call Emergency Maintenance Equipment Operator to perform critical snow removal on Missouri roads. Hours will vary with weather events, and there is an additional $1 per hour for night work (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.).

This role requires a CDL Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status, along with a criminal background check and drug screen. You may perform routine vehicle maintenance and support related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status (EI or NI).
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicles to plow snow and spread ice control materials or to warn oncoming traffic.
• Cleans and performs routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment, buildings and grounds.
