Responsibilities

• Enter guest orders accurately and communicate dietary restrictions to the culinary team.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining timing, presentation, and service standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and anticipate guest needs; assist with service recovery when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations.
• Process guest payments accurately and follow cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate with culinary, bar, banquet, and service teams to ensure seamless operations.

The Opportunity

Coury Hospitality has an exciting opportunity for a Server supporting the dual-branded campus of Hotel Citrine Palo Alto, Tribute Portfolio and AC Hotel Palo Alto. Together, these two distinctive Marriott brands offer a unique blend of boutique-inspired hospitality and modern European design, serving Silicon Valley's business travelers, innovators, visitors, and local community.

From the vibrant atmosphere of Wild Onion Bistro & Bar to thoughtfully curated food and beverage experiences throughout the campus, our team creates memorable moments that elevate every guest stay. We are seeking passionate hospitality professionals who bring warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail to every interaction.

As a Server, You’ll:

• Deliver exceptional dining experiences through attentive, personalized, and engaging service.
• Welcome guests warmly and guide them through menu offerings, specials, and beverage selections.
• Demonstrate knowledge of food, wine, beer, and cocktail offerings while making thoughtful recommendations.
• Accurately enter guest orders and communicate modifications and dietary restrictions to the culinary team.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining timing, presentation, and service standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and anticipate guest needs.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and partner with leadership to ensure service recovery when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and side work assignments.
• Process guest payments accurately and follow all cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate closely with culinary, bar, banquet, and service teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and company policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous restaurant, hotel, or hospitality serving experience preferred.
• Passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Professional, polished, and guest-focused demeanor.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards preferred.
• Food Handler Certification and TIPS Certification (or ability to obtain) preferred.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail and service quality.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
