Job summary

Coury Hospitality is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the dual-brand campus of Hotel Citrine Palo Alto, Tribute Portfolio, and AC Hotel Palo Alto. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs, troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems, and respond promptly to service requests to keep guest spaces safe and inviting.

This role requires strong teamwork and communication in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, commercial property, or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and safety procedures.
• Ability to read, understand, and complete maintenance work orders and logs.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and perform physical job duties throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on guest rooms, public areas, and hotel systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance issues.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest service requests and maintenance work orders.
• Conduct routine inspections of building systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
• Support the operation and maintenance of fire life safety systems, emergency equipment, and security-related infrastructure.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment performance and longevity.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Work closely with Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
• Identify opportunities for repairs, upgrades, and operational improvements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures and standards.
• Support sustainability initiatives and energy conservation efforts throughout the campus.

The Opportunity

Coury Hospitality has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer supporting the dual-branded campus of Hotel Citrine Palo Alto, Tribute Portfolio and AC Hotel Palo Alto. As a Maintenance Engineer, You'll:
