Job Purpose:

Coordinates security services through radio and telephone communications and monitors closed circuit cameras

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Coordinates security services by receiving and dispatching calls, monitoring fire panel, radio activity, and officer locations and activities, dispatching units as needed, contacting the appropriate Department, law enforcement agencies and emergency services as needed, and maintaining chronological records of daily events and pass down logs for information transfer.
2. Protects casino assets by monitoring designated casino areas, parking lots, stairwells, basement, food receiving docks, team member and emergency entrances and exits, and other related areas equipped with cameras and non-gaming surveillance equipment, and reporting irregularities, crimes or unusual activity by guests and/or team members to appropriate law enforcement agencies.
3. Provides guest service by answering team member and guest inquiries regarding exclusion histories, accident reporting, vehicle services and other security-related procedures and services.

Essential:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• 3 months Dispatch Experience

Desirable:

• 1 year security or emergency dispatch experience
• Law enforcement dispatch experience
• Security Operations experience
• POST Certification
