Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Elkhart, IN is seeking a Roadside Technician to respond to tire-related failures for semi-truck fleets. You will be dispatched to customer locations to repair or change tires, often roadside, and contribute to safe, on-site service.

This role includes participating in a mandatory on-call rotation with after-hours calls paid at a premium. Starting pay is $21 hourly (DOE) with a comprehensive benefits package, training opportunities, and potential for career

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Commercial Service Tire experience.

Responsibilities

• Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating of tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including PPE and safety policies.
