Job summary

The RMR Group LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Residential) in Sandy Springs to assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining safe, secure, and comfortable living environments for residents. The role covers routine preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and collaboration with the Property Manager to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and other systems, maintaining tools, and ensuring secure storage areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years' experience in maintenance property management.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• CPO Certification preferred.
• Ability to earn future designations as required by industry standards, EPA regulations, OSHA requirements.
• Solid knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc. for daily operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task to meet deadlines.
• Team-oriented and problem solvers.
• May be required to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by supervisor.
• Inspect utilities, appliances, and systems; address unsafe conditions.
• Coordinate make-ready repairs and services to meet deadlines.
• Change locks, rekey, and manage keys as needed.
• Assist in moving heavy appliances or furniture as required.
• Respond to priority/emergency situations as directed by supervisors.
