Job summary

MRK Property Management LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Willows at Pleasantville community in Pleasantville, NJ. The role involves repairs, preventative maintenance, and landscape upkeep across 128 residential units, with on-call duties on weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of maintenance or construction experience, with preferred certifications in EPA and HVAC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of maintenance or construction experience.
• One year of experience as a full-charge residential maintenance technician is preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations is preferred.
• EPA certification preferred.
• HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, troubleshoots mechanical systems, and completes preventative maintenance including inspections of buildings and alarm systems.
• Restores vacated apartments to move-in condition for new residents.
• Removes snow, ice and debris from sidewalks, walkways, and driveways/parking spaces.
• Completes janitorial requirements according to the schedule.
• Responds to on-call emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays—resolving issues.
• Patrols property daily and maintains cleanliness of grounds and common areas.
