Job summary

MRK Property Management LLC in Clinton, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Spruce Run community. You will perform repairs, troubleshoot systems, and handle preventative maintenance across properties, with focus on timely work orders and keeping grounds and buildings in top condition.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years maintenance or construction experience, HVAC certifications preferred, and ability to read and follow instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of maintenance or construction experience.
• One year of experience as a full-charge residential maintenance technician preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations preferred.
• EPA certification preferred; HVAC certification preferred.
• Must be able to work a flex schedule and be on-call for weekends/evenings/holidays.
• Ability to read, speak and comprehend English.
• Proficiency in plumbing, electric and machinery repair.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, troubleshoots mechanical systems, and completes preventative maintenance.
• Restores vacated apartments to move-in condition for new residents.
• Removes snow, ice and debris from sidewalks and parking spaces.
• Completes janitorial requirements per schedule.
• Responds to on-call emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Patrols property daily and maintains grounds and common areas.
