Job summary

MRK Partners is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for the Willows at Pleasantville community in Pleasantville, NJ. You will perform repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance across assigned properties, focusing on timely completion of work orders and keeping grounds and buildings in top condition.

You will support moves, upkeep of facilities, and seasonal tasks, including snow removal and common area cleaning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of maintenance or construction experience.
• One year of experience as a full-charge residential maintenance technician preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations preferred.
• EPA certification preferred.
• HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, troubleshoots mechanical systems, and completes preventative maintenance.
• Restores vacated apartments to move-in condition for new residents.
• Removes snow, ice and leaves from sidewalks, walkways, steps and driveways/parking spaces.
• Completes janitorial requirements according to the schedule.
• Responds to on-call emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays—resolving issues.
• Patrols property daily to identify areas in need of cleaning and complete required work.
