Job summary

Connect Staffing and Consulting seeks a dependable Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance at residential communities throughout the Los Angeles area. You will perform repairs, support unit turnovers, and help maintain property quality, with after-hours on-call rotation.

Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting, preventative maintenance, and friendly resident service. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift 75+ pounds.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a residential or similar setting.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Ability to lift more than 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Complete hands-on repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and resolve resident work orders
• Prepare vacant units for new residents by completing repairs, painting, and installations
• Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Maintain grounds and common areas as needed
• Provide friendly and professional customer service to residents
• Complete service requests in a timely and efficient manner
