Ecco Living is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our growing portfolio of residential properties throughout Los Angeles. This is a hands‑on position for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and understands the importance of providing residents with a well‑maintained home. We are looking for a dependable technician who can work independently, communicate professionally, and consistently deliver quality work.
Our team manages a diverse portfolio of apartments and co‑living communities across Los Angeles, providing steady work, varied responsibilities, and opportunities for advancement as the company continues to grow.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Responding to resident maintenance requests and completing repairs in a timely and professional manner.
- Diagnosing and repairing plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, appliance, and general maintenance issues.
- Completing unit turns and preparing apartments for new residents, including make‑ready work and inspections.
- Performing preventative maintenance and routine property inspections.
- Installing and troubleshooting smart locks, access systems, TVs, routers, and other property technology.
- Coordinating with vendors and assisting with larger property projects as needed.
- Maintaining common areas, amenities, and building systems to company standards.
- Documenting completed work and communicating updates clearly with the operations team.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance experience required.
- High‑rise residential experience preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, appliance repair, and general carpentry.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems independently and identify practical solutions.
- Experience safely using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Professional communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with AppFolio or similar property management software is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
