Job summary

Onni Properties LLC in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support residents and oversee preventative maintenance and apartment turns. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances while delivering strong customer service to tenants.

The role includes on-call duties, safety inspections, and coordination with vendors. A high school diploma/GED with a craft apprenticeship is required, with PLC/HVAC experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus a craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical skills and some PLC; HVAC knowledge; vacuum furnace preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, monitors and performs preventative maintenance and apartment turns.
• Diagnoses problems and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, swimming pool, carpentry and appliances.
• Responds to work orders promptly and professionally.
• Ensures units are turned in a timely and complete manner.
• Provides excellent customer service to residents and vendors.
• On-call pager service and emergency maintenance when required.
• Inspects buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness.
• Assists supervisor with vendor coordination and bids.
• Helps obtain bids from outside contractors and oversees contractor work.
