Job summary

WSH Management, Inc in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to inspect properties, respond to service requests, and implement preventive maintenance programs. You will coordinate with the Resident Manager and supervise contractors to keep facilities safe and compliant.

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of apartment maintenance or facilities experience, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties and equipment daily to determine need for service and personnel.
• Respond to service requests in FIFO order, documenting work done, parts used, and time spent.
• Implement and supervise Preventative Maintenance program; update schedules quarterly, semi-annually, annually.
• Assist with apartment turnovers including maintenance, repairs, or renovations; obtain bids from outside contractors.
• Direct contracted projects to ensure adherence to specifications and safety standards.
• Purchase and maintain records of supplies, machinery, and equipment; keep maintenance shop organized.
• Provide emergency on-call services 24/7; communicate with Property Manager as needed.
• Meet and engage with residents professionally; ensure property standards are met.
