Job summary

Great Lakes Management in Bloomington, MN, is hiring a Resident Assistant to provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents under service agreements. You will assist with dining, activities, and communication with families and case managers.

The role requires compassion, reliability, and the ability to work across shifts in a dynamic care environment. Training and team support are provided.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence.
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Ability to make responsible choices and act in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) as indicated on the individualized service agreement.
• Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement.
• Observe clients and report changes in physical and emotional condition to the case manager.
