Job summary

St. Joseph Hospice is hiring a Full-Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) for Baton Rouge, LA. The role involves home visits during an on-call 7-on/7-off schedule, delivering compassionate care and coordinating with families.

Candidates must hold an active Louisiana RN license, CPR certification, and have experience in Home Health or Hospice with EMR proficiency. This position offers involvement in a mission-driven team and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license in Louisiana.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Experience in Home Health or Hospice.
• Visit patients at their residence.
• Knowledge of EMR systems.
• Compassionate RN with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide RN care during home visits to patients in their homes.
• Participate in 7 days on, 7 days off call rotation 4:30 pm–8:00 am.
• Coordinate care with patients, families and other providers.
• Document care using EMR and maintain accurate records.
• Adhere to hospice standards and quality of care requirements.
