Job summary

Vest Residential in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building, grounds, and common areas meet standards for cleanliness, safety, and function.

You will diagnose defects, complete work orders and preventative maintenance, handle make-ready inspections, manage inventories, document work, and assist with groundskeeping and safety compliance. On-call work during evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications required (Type I/II or Universal).
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• On-call cellular device required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and repair per safety policies and codes.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units including inspections and punch lists.
• Track inventory, use supplies, and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Complete documentation and paperwork for service requests.
• Assist with grounds, common areas, and amenities maintenance.
• Participate in safety meetings and risk-management activities.
