Job summary

Guardian Real Estate Services is seeking a Full Time Maintenance Technician for the Alberta Alive and Dr Darrell Millner apartments in Portland, OR. The role supports the Community Manager, ensures site safety, and completes scheduled and urgent maintenance to uphold curb appeal and property quality.

The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and customer-focused, with a HS diploma or GED, English proficiency, and own tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• At least one year of work experience in property maintenance and repairs preferred.
• Possess and transport own tools and materials needed for job.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner; both verbally and in writing.
• Must own or have access to properly insured vehicle with valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Represent Guardian in a positive and professional manner at all times.
• Support Community Manager’s efforts to exceed property management obligations.
• Maintain the property in compliance with laws and OSHA requirements.
• Walk property grounds daily to maintain curb appeal.
• Coordinate with vendors and staff to address maintenance needs and repairs.
• Respond to service requests and complete work orders promptly.
• Keep accurate records of space conditions, time worked, and reports.
