Guardian Real Estate Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician at Spruce Park Apartments in Portland, OR. The role focuses on site safety, scheduled maintenance, and timely work-order completion to uphold curb appeal and property quality.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in property maintenance, own tools, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to communicate in English. Labor involves on-site work with a 40-hour week and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of work experience in property maintenance/repairs.
• Possess and transport own tools and materials.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English.
• Must own or have access to a properly insured vehicle; valid license and insurance.
• CPO certification may be required if the property has a pool.

Responsibilities

• Represent Guardian in a positive and professional manner at all times.
• Support Community Manager to meet property management obligations.
• Maintain property in compliance with laws (fire, OSHA, etc.).
• Walk property grounds daily; maintain curb appeal and exterior cleanliness.
• Coordinate with staff and vendors; respond to service requests and complete work orders.
• Keep records of space conditions and ensure the office/maintenance areas are clean.
