Job summary

WSH Management in California seeks an experienced maintenance professional for a full-time on-site role. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with after-hours on-call emergencies; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities include inspecting properties, implementing preventive maintenance, handling turnovers, bidding and directing contractor work, and repairing electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry tasks. Strong customer service and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant apartment maintenance experience is preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Inspect property daily to determine maintenance needs and staffing.
• Respond to service requests in FIFO order, including emergencies.
• Implement and supervise preventive maintenance program.
• Assist with turnover and obtain bids for work from contractors.
• Direct contracted projects to meet specifications.
• Repair electrical and plumbing, carpentry, and appliance issues.
• Provide 24/7 on-call emergency response; overtime may be required.
• Keep maintenance shop organized and maintain tools/equipment.
