Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• One year or more of related maintenance experience.
• Technical training or maintenance certifications helpful; valid driver’s license if traveling between locations.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping; adept with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community appearance: clean sidewalks, entrances, parking lots and surrounding areas.
• Complete work orders from Housing Manager; troubleshoot appliances in units.
• Coordinate with office staff to prepare vacant units for new residents.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs in apartments and common areas.
• On-call 24/7 for emergencies; assist with budgeting and vendor coordination.
• Coordinate with outside vendors/contractors for large projects; assist training of staff as needed.
