Wilhoit Properties, Inc. is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to keep our apartment community safe, functional, and welcoming. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to repairs, and support on-site operations to ensure resident comfort.

The role requires strong mechanical knowledge, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills, and you must be able to work on-call emergencies. You will maintain the grounds, manage supplies, and help make-ready units for new residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge.
• Electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills essential for working on various projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical appearance and integrity of the apartment community.
• Ensure clean and comfortable living environment for residents and visitors.
• Complete apartment make-ready procedures such as painting; servicing appliances, plumbing, and electrical fixtures; repairing parts; replacing bulbs; checking/changing locks; and cleaning.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, lighting, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and major equipment and perform repairs as necessary with approval.
• Maintain an organized maintenance shop and inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain curb appeal through lawncare.
• Take after-hours emergency calls as assigned.
