Job summary

Wilhoit Properties, Inc. is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to uphold the apartment community's appearance and operations. You will handle painting, appliance/service work, and routine inspections, with after-hours availability as needed.

Ideal candidates have experience in property maintenance and solid electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills. You will maintain a tidy shop and respond to emergencies to ensure resident satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge.
• Electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills essential for working on various projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance and integrity of the apartment community.
• Ensure clean and comfortable living environment for residents and visitors.
• Complete make-ready tasks: painting; servicing appliances, plumbing, and electrical fixtures; repairing parts; replacing bulbs; checking locks; cleaning.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, lighting, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and major equipment; repair as approved by the Property Manager.
• Maintain organized maintenance shop and inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain curb appeal through lawncare.
• Take after-hours emergency calls, as assigned.
