Woda Cooper Companies, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician at Woodward Way in East Lansing to perform general and preventive maintenance across apartments and common areas. The role emphasizes resident interactions, safety, and timely repairs in a vibrant community.

You will assist with turnovers, document inspections, and utilize company databases while maintaining a professional appearance and dependability. A valid driver’s license and willingness to be on-call are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read and speak English and follow oral and written directions.
• Previous maintenance experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain positive interactions with residents and the public to enhance the community image.
• Perform general maintenance of apartments and common areas including snow removal during snow events.
• Create and maintain a customer-centered service culture for prospects and residents.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Maintain an attractive community appearance and curb appeal.
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of the property, including sanitizing and waste disposal.
• Turnover of apartments including cleaning and repairs as needed.
• Use company databases and software programs.
• Identify maintenance problems and take appropriate actions.
• Document regular property inspections for defects and safety.
